Study Tour to Greece and Poland: Israeli Fruit Industry Representatives Explore European Apple and Kiwi Production

From 23 to 25 November, a delegation of three professionals from the Israeli fruit industry visited Greece, followed by a continuation of the study trip in Poland from 25 to 27 November.
The study visit was organized in cooperation with the two Beneficiaries of the campaign:
- the Agricultural Cooperative of Neapoli Agrinio (Greece) and
- the Association of Polish Fruit and Vegetables Distributors “FRUIT UNION” (Poland).
Throughout the trip, the participants met with Greek and Polish producers, gaining first-hand insight into the production processes behind high-quality European apples and kiwis. The itinerary included visits to orchards, fields, packing facilities, and modern storage centers, offering an in-depth look at European Union’s cultivation methods, harvesting techniques, and post-harvest handling that ensure the fruit’s safety, freshness, and market readiness.
This exchange of knowledge strengthened international cooperation and highlighted the shared commitment to excellence within the European fruit sector.
